What kind of job can an associate degree in interior design?

and also would like to know if there is demand for it & I live in a small town so I need to switch to a big city to get a job?

This is the degree my daughter. He found it difficult to find work in that field so that works as a photographer and designer in his own time. There are professional interior design company, they were only in larger cities and sometimes only hire those with experience. But many people rent in that field.
