Frances Elkins (1888-1953) Born in Milwaukee, Frances Adler Elkins is one of the most prominent interior decorator and designer of the last century. Sister of the famed Chicago architect David Adler, Elkins is known for its futuristic design brought together different styles and elements from different times. They include French country style, Chinoiserie and art deco. The equipment featured his designs of designers such as Jean-Michel Frank and Alberto Giacometti. The career of Elkins which spanned over three decades glittered with many high profile commissions In Hawaii, the Midwest and northern and southern California, none more interesting than restoring 1830s structure, Casa Amesti in Monterrey, California. Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) Frank Lloyd Wright is an interior designer and architect whose career includes more than 1000 projects, 500 of them completed. Wright is known for its promotion of organic architecture, An example which is Fallingwater. The Robie House is an example of Wright's Prairie School architectural leadership of the movement, while the Rosenbaum House means Wright Usonian concept home.
